Your Visit to OZ
We offer a recreational venue open June through September. These include swimming, badminton, lawn volleyball, horseshoes, gunny sack races, with other outdoor sports & activities. We provide equipment for above sports. There is parking for up to 25 vehicles.
Additional services / fees provided on a cost basis include:
Catered lunch / ordure’s, 4 hour life guard, Parking attendant, Pavilions / Band Stand / Tables / Chairs, Additional toilets
Conditions of Use
Protection of Children: Parents are responsible to be with and supervising their children at all times – supervising for safety and to protect the integrity of the site.
Protection of Plants & Trees: Care is to be taken to protect plants and trees from damage. Avoid climbing trees, hanging from branches, treading on ornamental flowers & ferns, etc.
Alcohol
Our primary concern is public safety. No alcohol will be served by the Owner. If alcoholic beverages are provided to attendees by the client, alcohol use is restricted to wine & beer in MODERATE amounts. Please manage your consumption in a way that allows for a clean event and safe departure (ie. no drinking and driving).
No ‘hard’ alcohol including in flasks, handles, pocket shots, trunk bars, is allowed on the property.
Music
Acoustic music is preferred. Judy Garland is the ‘house’ entertainer, along with the Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion & Tinman. Others may join in on the chorus. Amplified music may be considered upon application, subject to conditions and restrictions applied on an individual basis. Music must cease by 6 PM.
Fire Safety
No Open Fires are permitted on the ground. A fire pit is provided, the screened cover must be used. Charcoal or charcoaled mesquite only is to be used in the BBQ grill at poolside. Please allow fires in grills, fire pit, to burn out (water will damage the grill, pit, or ring). Camp stoves and similar devices with a controlled enclosed flame are allowed. Fire pit use and the use of charcoal briquettes may be restricted or prohibited due to fire danger levels during the summer season.
Pool Safety
No lifeguard is provided in the basic fee, however Owner may provide a lifeguard at cost.
No diving can be permitted, the pool depth varies from 2.5 feet to 6 feet. This is not suitable depth for diving.
If children are using the pool a lifeguard MUST be employed in addition to the parent of each child accompanying the child during use of pool.
Parking
All parking is to be on the property and is limited to 25 vehicles. No parking along Emerald City Way is permitted. Shuttling of attendees may be required. While photography is encouraged we have a
Very Strict No Drone Policy.
All smoking must be limited to the designated smoking area around the pool, including cigarettes, cannabis, vapes, etc. (the parking lot is not a smoking area). Especially given the current drought and Wildfires, we take this very seriously.
Civility is key. Please show us the Respect you expect as our team works to ensure you have a great visit.
Please Note: We have no control over the Winged Monkeys, enter Oz at your own risk. We have found if you treat them with kindness they are kind in return. Pets are limited to service animals, which should be on a leash. We have deer, wild turkeys, kit fox, squirrels, a friendly lion, a badger, bob tail cats, and, other native animals present on the property.
Clean Up
General setup and cleanup of the premises shall be the responsibility of the customer.
The grounds must be left free of debris and other refuse pertaining to the use or event at its conclusion.
Clean-up includes but is not limited to:
Refuse and glass put into containers provided.
All decorations and attendee equipment removed from site.
Glitter and confetti are not allowed.
Staples / nails or hooks are not permitted on any picnic table, wood structure, or trees.
